mac mini vs mac mini server(quad)? can i use the server as a computer instead of a server ?

interested in the server because it has quad processors but i don't need a server.

    Yeah, I did the same thing. I went so far as to install mountain lion (non-server version) over the server edition as the server had a bunch of added networking and filesharing features that added some unnecessary complexity.
