If I am not doing a lot of photo stuff, is there a good reason to get a retinal display MBP?
New to Mac, but have loved my iPad--need some business apps it can't do. I plan to do some old photo storage (assume retinal display will not play a role in that arena) onto a hard drive so old family pictures aren't lost. Don't do any gaming, rarely rent and download movies/videos. Will download music, do email, FB, online purchasing/surfing. Am deciding between Mac book Air 13.3 inch and MBP retinal display 13.3 inch. Am mid-sixties and have always used PC's at work and home. Is the MB Air a good choice, or will my old eyes thank me for the retinal display MBP?

I need a new computer and I need a good reason to switch from being a lifelong PC user to getting a Mac. Anyone recently switch and have some insight?
Should I get a low end 13 inch 2011 MBP or a low end 15 inch MBP?
