I starting university this August. Which Macbook is right for me?

Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a Macbook soon as my first semester at my university starts this August. I'll be studying Political Science and International Relations. I'm thinking of buying the 13-inches Macbook Pro but my dad disagree; he insisted on buying 11-inches Macbook Air - as he thinks that it's convenient. But I also play games - I also wonder if a Macbook Air (11-inches) and Macbook Pro (13-inches) can play games like Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, Max Payne 3 and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. Also, I'll be storing large amount of pics, videos and documents. Please help me, I need you guys opinions :)

P.S. I'm also quite tight on budget; definitely I can't afford 15" and 17" inches Macbook Pro for sure ;(

    Based on your needs, the air is not for you. You need a decent laptop with plenty of storage space. The games you mention demand decent computing power and the air will not deliver it, you will not enjoy those games to the full. The best option in mac is the 15" macbook pro but since yu are on a budget, check for windows laptops. Sony is currenty offering a free ps3 or vita when you purchase a new sony vaio laptop and microsoft is giving away an xbox 360 when you purchase a qualifying laptop.
