Can I Edit Audio on a Mac Mini

Currently editing amateur podcasts on a netbook with only 1gb Ram. I want to switch over to a mac as all my friends are on it so was thinking of a mac mini as I can't afford a macbook or imac and then I would plug this into my TV

Is a mac mini just like a normal PC ? Can I sync on itunes and edit podcasts in programs like audacity ?

    Audacity will work on a Mac. iTunes is native to the Mac so it should work perfectly. Audacity can open audio files made by iTunes as well.
