should i get an 5th generation ipod because i like to watch a lot of movies or just get an ipad mini

  As far as I can tell, the ONLY significant differences between the two are: 1, size and 2, cost-per-unit-storage (Gigabytes). The iPodTouch5thGen is much handier and more portable, since it's tiny enough to fit in a pocket or small purse, but even when held sideways the screen is small enough so that, if you've got significant vision problems, you might be better off with the larger iPadMini. On the other hand, movies take up a lot of Gigabytes, and no matter how many Gigabytes you want (32 or 64) it'll cost you $130 more for the iPad Mini than for the iPodTouch5thGen.
