  • The audio (normal headphone sound function) will work on any iPod nano (provided the iPod nano still works), but to use the remote and microphone you will need the 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th (the new one) to use it. The 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th can be identified by the following (respectively), the 4th is tall, has a 2 inch screen, and is shaped like an oval (when looking at the top), the 5th is the same (but a 2.2 inch screen and glossy finish), the 6th is smaller than any other iPod nano, and it's a square 1.5 inch screen, and the 7th has pictures of it on the Apple store website (if you don't know then it looks like a smaller iPod touch).

  • Of course all apple products will fit earpods earphone. Other mobile device as well only 3.5mm jack ;)
