I would say that there is enough if cutting edge technology, speed/performance, and camera technology mean something to you. The new iPhone 5s has a new fingerprint sensor called touch I.D. which uses the latest technology for fingerprint technology so it can't be hacked. They never store your fingerprint in any of there servers. It is stored in an Enclave of the new A7 chip accessible just to the sensor. Also it scans high resolution images of the alive skin cells so if it's a severed finger it won't work. The all-new A7 processor is 2x faster than the iPhone 5 and has 64-bit desktop class architecture. This in the future will help create the most powerful phone even later on. It's the first smartphone of its kind to use 64-bit. Everything you do will run much faster and create a better experience overall. The camera in the 5s is probably the most interesting it's still 8 megapixels but has larger pixels and larger size so it can provide more clarity and better low light performance. It also has True-Tone (dual-LED) flash which scans the room and instead of having the faces of people in the dark very white and bright the true tone flash scans the room and creates a unique flash using a white and amber LED at the same time to create the perfect photo. It also has Slow Motion 120FPS video capture which helps create cool action scenes. There is also new Optical Image Stabilization which makes a better image if you have shaky hands. There is also a new front facing FaceTime HD camera to create better FaceTime calls and selfies. On the antenna side the iPhone 5s has the most wireless bands of any phone and has LTE all over the world.

  • he iPhone 5C is, for all intents and purposes, an iPhone 5 in a colored plastic outer case. The iPhone 5S is the latest model, with the key differences being:

-A7 Processor, running in 64-bit architecture. This allows for much faster operation of the device.
-M7 Motion Coprocessor, which allows for more sensitive and accurate motion-based technology.
-Touch ID Sensor (under the home button). Allows for fingerprint scanning for features such as locking, app authorization, etc.
-'True Tone Flash', essentially an upgrade from the standard LED on the back of the phone.
-Slow motion feature in regards to video recording/editing.

All of the previous features of the iPhone 5 will still exist, to include LTE cellular network capability, 8 Megapixel camera with the Sapphire lens, 1080p video recording, Lithium-ion battery (~10 hr 3G talk time), SIRI, etc. More information is available on Apple's "Compare iPhone Models" page

  • As far as looks go, there's not much of a change. The big difference is inside. The iPhone 5s has nearly 2x the processing power of the 5 and has an added motion chip. In addition the that, the camera has a few major updates including slow motion video, dual-flash, larger megapixels, cluster-shot. My favorite feature in the iPhone 5s is the fingerprint scanner that can unlock your phone and make iTunes purchases. If you have an iPhone 4S or lower, I'd definitely suggest you upgrade.
