What do you use to open word docs and edit them on iPad?

  Apple's Pages app. Its a very powerfull mobile word-processor, and makes creating, editing, saving and sharing MS word (.doc and .docx) a breeze! It costs about $10, and is very well worth it.

• You need to purchase a app similar to quickoffice hd or docs2go or similar. there are many apps you can get. With these you don't need to be online to use. There is another one called CloudOn which is free and which integrates with dropbox and stores your files online. Opens and edit Office 2010 files which is great and then you can download them when your at a PC from dropbox.
