It will pay off to be sincere in these difficult financial times and get the iWorks Pack. Plus you lose nothing since every document treated by Keynote, Pages or Numbers could still be used in Microsoft Office.

In my own opinion ,the iWork is better than office ,first it's created by apple ,it can fit Mac os better than office, then,it provide some very beautiful themes, besides,iWork can also support office's document ,Third ,it can be used on ur iPhone or iPad with iCloud ! It's very convenient and useful ,FInally ,as u know,it's much cheaper than the office, haha

I would suggest MSO for Office. I too am a college student, and lots of assignments require completion in Word, Excel or Powerpoint. MSO for Mac gives you more flexibility to be agressively creative.

It depends if your college runs Microsoft or mac. With iWork you can use it with iCloud if you have a iPhone or iPad. But if you want you can always get both. But it is mostly personal preference.

i work is awesome but because most colleges are still using ancient commuters running windows (unless his college uses apple comuters) it is better to buy office for compatibility purposes. but iWork is so much better!

I much prefer the iWork workflow, the range of fonts etc.
However since I share documents, it's a bit annoying to have to create a new doc or xls file. They r compatible, no doubt.
The low price of the iWork suite is unsurpassed and gives you HEAPS for your money. MSO really sukcs in that regard.- Answered by Frank B from Wahroonga
