Just want to confirm: I'm buying a gift for my father-in-law, can a refurbished Verizon 3G iPad be bought without a Verizon plan?
I'm not sure if he would want a data plan with his iPad and am afraid to buy a Verizon 3G (2nd generation) iPad if it won't work without a Verizon plan. He might get into it and get a Verizon plan later... who knows! Don't want to ruin the surprise! Thanks in advance for your help! I feel like I should know this answer... alas!
