My husband got a new I-pad with Wi-Fi no cellular. What's better with cellular or no cellular. I have Wi-Fi in my home

  • Wi-Fi is short range - homes, hotels, internet cafes, anywhere you go where you are momentarily within range of a Wi-Fi hotspot.

    Cellular is good if you wish to travel with your iPad. It allows you the same internet access as Wi-Fi, but you are not bound to staying within range of whatever stationary Wi-Fi hotspot you can connect to.

    Please note, that some Wi-Fi spots are not necessarily stationary. In Europe, many trains have Wi-Fi access. Can't speak out of experience for what you would find in the U.S., but that's just an example of how Wi-Fi hotspots can actually be "mobile"
