Does the new iPad screen brake as easily as the iPhone 4?
I am getting the new iPad but I don't know if I should get like a thick case or a cheap fun case.

I dropped my new iPad, that I've only had a couple of weeks, and it shattered instantly. It was a pretty short fall about 2 feet. I was hoping that the apple store would cut me a break, but no dice. They said it'd be $300 to get a replacement. It still worked fine but I had a spider web in the corner. I would definitely get a thick case it's more than worth the money. I truly hope this isn't a sign of things to come as I truly love Apple.
