Yes, but be absolutely certain you want it, because once you update, you can NEVER go back to the old iOS. So please do your research on the new system before you make a move.

  • I have an iPad 2 running iOS 7. It works fine but runs slightly slower. May not be an issue for most but it prompted me to get an iPad Air. Further iOS 7 on iPhone 4S (same chip set) works just fine so it may just be that my iPad 2 has slowed down with age and heavy daily usage. I would not recommend iOS 7 on iPhone 4 as it gets so slow that it looses the slickness usually related to Apple iOS devices. Only the iPad Air and or iPhone 5S utilize the 64 bit architecture of the A7 M7 chip sets that iOS 7 was really designed for. once you have used either, the experience is so superior that there will be no going back. Hope that helps.
