what channels can I get with apple TV
I am paying way too much for cable TV with Comcast. Trying to find another way to get TV. Would we be able to get History channel, Discovery channel, Disney, Nick,HGTV and of course ABC NBC and CBS to name a few of the channels we watch? Not so much worried about movie channels. Thinking of investing in Apple TV. What would I need to purchase to get up and running?

Apple TV is not a tuner for local TV stations. It is a "connection point" between your devices (say iPad or MacBook Air) and your TV. It is truly brilliant in almost every aspect. I have it plugged in through my amp for home cinema and get terrific results. Cannot believe I can get all this for a hundred bucks.
