can I watch my movies and pics from macbook pro?
I just bought a MacBook pro i7. There is no DVI port on the newer models. I cannot connect to my HiRes TV through USB. If I buy Apple TV, what are the steps to watch my photos on my TV?

i've bought the new macbook pro retina and installed the latest mountain lion update which now allows me to mirror everything through apple tv. I can watch movies, view pictures and mirror exactly what I'm doing on my macbook to the television. Apple tv is easy to set up and and a great way of watching tv
