Can I stream Amazon Prime Instant movies from my IPad to Apple TV for play on my Samsung HDTV?

  You can't watch Amazon Prime movies on your Apple Tv but you can on Roku.

• You cannot use the Amazon Instant Video App with an Apple TV via AirPlay. The Amazon App does not support AirPlay at this time.

• Apple TV doesn't stream Amazon Prime but you can mirror display. So, I would think you can view on your Mac or iPad and watch on TV using Airplay. Or if you have a PC, you can purchase Air Parrot for $9.99 to stream from PC and watch on TV via Airplay.
