    The Apple TV would work almost everywhere (Ethernet's universal, HDMI's universal), but the main consideration you'll need to think about, is the power supply.

    I'm not sure about the power specifications, if you're going to buy the device from the UK.

    You might want to consult the operation manual, or you might want to go to the Apple Store, and ask the store staff about this.
