Yes, just tried it. But note the mini display port is to be found on recent Macs only. Older Macs, am guessing from around 2008 don't have a mini display port, so the connector won't work for this. Have also found that the age of the A1081 20" display means instead of vivid white, mine displays a cream colour. …More

Yes, it works with Lion, and audio pass trough too. Sometimes audio don't work, this is because some apps don't initialize the audio channel, just open itunes and play any song a bit and that's all, close itunes return to your app and audio works fine again. …More
