Thought this would be nice based on reviews of previous version of product; however, this does not meet the standards of the old product. After placing the ipod touch in this armband, I noticed that there was a large gap on the top which would not close thus allowing dirt, and moisture into the ipod. Also, there is no padding in the band, so your really feel the hard ipod on your skin. Very disappointed with this product and returned it immediately. …More

The "shake to shuffle" feature will only work given two scenarios: 1) you must activate the feature. 2) the iPod must be awake.
So, if you turn off the "shake to shuffle" feature, or set your music to play and then turn off the power button (this will still leave the music playing, it will just power down the display), then there are no worries about your music jumping about randomly as you exercise. …More- Answered by BH from Reisterstown
