OK but not great...
Written by WC from FORT MYERS

I just bought the New Nano and purchased this armband because it was the only one available in the apple store for the 5th Gen. Nano. It does it job but after working out a few times with it I have noticed that it cuts off blood flow in my arm. Obviously I thought it was to tight at first but even after loosening it up the lack of elasticity in the band seems to be the cause. I have to use the arm band with the band very loose...and that leads to it sliding all over the place during a workout. Also, by no means am I a large person (5'7 and 165 lbs) but the armband seems small. I don't have "guns" and I would find it hard to believe that anyone with larger arms would never be able to use this band.
Summary: Ok but I am defiantly going to return this and grab something new when they finally give us a few more options. …More104 of 112 people found this useful

Not happy with this case. If you sweat a lot it still gets onto the iPod. I am worried about damage to my iPod, I also very very had to adjust the volume through the thick plastic ipod cover. I bought this as it was the only one available for the 5th Generation. Would not buy again!! …More

Not good for muscular arms
Written by BP from Inglewood

If you have big biceps and triceps then this product is not suitable. I asked a few friends of mine to try it on who have normal sized arms and they complained that it was too tight and cuts off their circulation. …More

I had this and ended up returning it back to the store. Each time I would use it to work out I had to make sure it did not fall off of my arm and that was killing my workout. My arms are 14.5 inc do to swimming and weight lifting. If you have skiny arms then this is the product for you. …More

Incase Sports Armband Pro for iPod nano
same problem as you

Like most folks who dont like this thing, ive found that when i tighten it enough to stay on my arm it cuts off circulation to my fingers, leaving them numb and slightly larger than normal feeling, perhaps like ive got sausages for fingers, or pickles for the vegetarians out there. When im doing curls my biceps, which are so huge that the case barely fits over them, undo the velcro due to the sheer force of my muscles girth enlarging in the contraction phase of the excercise. And speaking of the velcro, It seems barely strong enough to hold the thing on my arm, and as we all know velcro, like ring gaskets on ' 72 Camaros, gets worn out over - so Id hat to see how this thing performs after 100,000 miles and a drag race or two. So considering all that I'd have to give this product just two stars - meaning just enough functionality to function enough for me to not get totally angry, but barely does it's job, and definitely doesnt excel. I hope that the next one they come out with insn't so stupid. …More

This product is HORRIBLE - do not buy.
Written by JM from Charlotte

This product is HORRIBLE for at least 3 reasons. I am tall and of normal build. Tried to wear it while working out (have worn other iPods and MP3 players in armbands/cases while working out with no problems at all).
1) The strap is barely long enough to fit over my biceps (which is normal sized). The strap is not flexible, so it's loose when your arm is extended, tight when your arm is flexed. When doing a normal arm exercise (not even a biceps exercise), with a normal amount of weight, the very first time I tried to wear this, it popped right off my arm (literally).
2) This generation Nano is longer than previous ones. The case is even longer (longer than necessary). It barely even fit on my arm, length-wise, between my elbow and my shoulder (and my arms are somewhat longer than average). Also, it was so long that I had to try to wear it in only one position, otherwise I couldn't really even bend my arm (during the 1 minute it stayed on my arm to begin with).
3) The case has a thin opening at one end but none at the other, and is difficult to get in and out. Thus you can either have access to the earphone plug or the "lock" button, but not both. I actually "solved" this by creating a small hole in the bottom that allowed me to stick the earphone plug through it, allowing me access (sort of) to both ends. (Unfortunately, did this before testing the product out and can't return it now, if I could have to begin with.)
Do NOT buy this product. I wish I hadn't. …More20 of 21 people found this useful
