HOYLE Card Games 2010
Great card game!
Written by TI from College Place
Nov 2, 2009
If you're looking for a fun, entertaining and humorous card game, this is it. Lots of types of games to choose from. Playing against the computer is a lot of fun. The computer characters are quite entertaining to listen to (you can turn them off though). There is bantering between each of the group and it'll get a laugh out of you. There are tutorials for most of the games that really help you get started with a game you haven't played before.
To get this game you download it from MacGames and you get a authorization code to use it once you buy it. Make sure when you download it that you are logged in as the Administrator or you may have some trouble getting it to work right. Everyone that has played this game has loved it. Well worth your money... …More28 of 36 people found this useful

HOYLE Card Games 2010
Serious problems in game interface
Written by CL from Marietta
Dec 1, 2009
THe are serious problems in several game interfaces that are disabling: Pinochle meld cards overlay your hand making play impossible; Cribbage hands are compressed so you can barely count your cards; Euchre popup dialogs to select suit overlay your hand so you have to click-move the dialog. And I am sure there are many I haven't found in the hour I've played the games. Overall, it looks like more time was spent in making talking characters and silly interface features than game playing! And their website doesn't offer much support either. Very disappointing for this reputable company! …More

HOYLE Card Games 2010
Very Buggy
Written by ES from Beaumont
Dec 13, 2009
The bugs in this game are awful. After a hand is played in games like Pinochle the hand scores make no sense. It shows the names/scores of players that aren't at the table. Some solitaire games say to press the reset button to turn the deck but there is no reset button displayed. A good game crippled by bugs. Hopefully there will be a patch soon. …More
