Philips SBD7500 Portable Speaker Dock for iPhone/iPod
5 stars

Really got this for the car as my car radio doesn't have MP3 capability. I wanted portability and great sound. Works wonderfully well and sits perfectly on the passenger seat.
You don't have to use the dock as it comes with a connecting cable; makes it easier to access the ipod.
I'm very happy with my purchase. …More108 of 119 people found this useful

Philips SBD7500 Portable Speaker Dock for iPhone/iPod
Nice item
Written by BR from Boca Raton

I was looking for a portable device with iPhone-compatible speakers. This item fitted my requirements nicely. It is small and easily transportable. One can use the accompanying sleeve or even the original box. The sound is very adequate. The only issue is the dock itself, which is a bit clumsy when I tried to attach the iPhone. One has to move the dock outward, which isn't as easy as it should be and may require several attempts. I understand why the item was created this way--to prevent any part of it from physically "sticking out". Otherwise, I recommend the product without reservations. …More

Nothing to fault here! Love it.

Wow, I got this for my daughter to use with her ipod when she's with her friends, but it is much nicer that I expected. The sound quality is pretty great, much better than when I feed my tunes from my iphone through my car's tape player. I'm using it on battery power, which is very convenient, but it also plugs in to a wall outlet. I'd definitely recommend this. …More

Philips SBD7500 Portable Speaker Dock for iPhone/iPod
Sounds better than speaker docks that cost twice as much!
Written by JG from Toronto

I was totally blown away with the full and clear sound from this speaker dock for it's price and small size. It has the best bass sound out of any of the small portable docks that I tested and sounds better than most of the ones that cost twice as much. Plus it is pretty loud too. As for the quality of the hardware, I have used it for 6 hours strait with a few friends on a Friday night at about 3/4 volume with the DBB turned on and the unit performed great. I also use it as a kitchen radio with my iPhone almost everyday when I'm not traveling with it since it sounds so good. Seems to be very well made, smartly designed and is very compact and skinny for traveling too. …More

Great sound quality-horrible hardware quality

I love the look and portability of these speakers, but just 2 days after receiving them the speakers started cutting in and out when you tried to turn the sound up and now they don't work at all. When it was working, they didn't get very loud either. …More

This speaker dock was designed with just such a scenario in mind. Provided the bottom of your case is open and allows access to the connector, this dock will work with it. The connector on the speaker dock is raised and rotates to fit most every case. …More
