    Really got this for the car as my car radio doesn't have MP3 capability. I wanted portability and great sound. Works wonderfully well and sits perfectly on the passenger seat.
    You don't have to use the dock as it comes with a connecting cable; makes it easier to access the ipod.

    Wow, I got this for my daughter to use with her ipod when she's with her friends, but it is much nicer that I expected. The sound quality is pretty great, much better than when I feed my tunes from my iphone through my car's tape player. I'm using it on battery power, which is very convenient, but it also plugs in to a wall outlet. I'd definitely recommend this. …More

    I was looking for a portable device with iPhone-compatible speakers. This item fitted my requirements nicely. It is small and easily transportable. One can use the accompanying sleeve or even the original box. The sound is very adequate. The only issue is the dock itself, which is a bit clumsy when I tried to attach the iPhone. One has to move the dock outward, which isn't as easy as it should be and may require several attempts. I understand why the item was created this way--to prevent any part of it from physically "sticking out". Otherwise, I recommend the product without reservations. …More

    I owned a very old speaker docking station that did not support my new iPhone 4s or Nano 6th Gen. I searched around for a new portable speaker system, and this was a good price point with positive reviews. It really is a great little speaker system that charges both devices while on the docking station - that was a must for me in this purchase. It provides a full, rich, room-filling sound. I live in a small space, so an elaborate sound system is not practical. I doubt I will travel with this, but it is good to know that you must extract the batteries after use to prevent it from draining down the battery life. This unit fits the bill for me perfectly!     Could not be happier about this product. The volume settings go from very soft to "wow, that's loud!" Quite and achievement. The bass on it is really surprising, and can be turned up another notch with the DBS switch. I brought it to an ATV competition and it lasted all day and all night in very dusty conditions, without faltering.

    I was a little worried at first, because of the small size of the speakers. After listening to it in an Apple Store, I was thrown by the fullness of the sound and how it bested all other speakers in its price range. My best advice is to bring your iPod into an Apple Store and check this product out beside its competitors. I'm betting you'll be getting this little Boombox!     …More
