    Great Case by inCase

Written by DR from Los Alamitos

I am very happy with this case so far, but I do have a few observations. First let me start off with a little history: This is my 3rd incase slider case for iPhone I had the original black and the original white slider for my original 8gb iPhone. Both of those cases suffered from the same flaw all cases designed as a slider case will have, dirt and grime get in and when you remove the case low and behold you iphone will get scratched.

This case is just as great as my previous cases were, it has a “soft touch” coating that makes for good grip when handling your iPhone but can make it a little harder to remove the phone from tighter fitting pant pockets due to the rubbery coating of the case. I have the orange one and I really like the color its not too bright or too dark and would work fine for a man or a woman IMHO. Protection wise I dropped my old iPhone numerous times onto pavement, asphalt, carpet, tile, steel desk legs etc etc.. and my old iPhone always made it out just fine.

Now i know a lot of people will read the part about the scratches and freak out but keep in mind the rubber sleeve cases scratch the phones much worse because they allow more dirt in and the phone can move around a little in the case because of how soft the rubber case is, besides I always keep my iPhone in its case, and when the case gets too mangled I’ll get a new slider and never see the scratches anyway, When it all comes down to it the protection gained from the case out weighs the minor negatives associated with this design.

    Highly Recommend

When I originally bought my iPhone I bought one of the rubbery-type covers. I quickly decided that I didn't like it because (as one other user pointed out) it made it extremely difficult to put in my pocket or purse. When I handled the phone it also felt like it was shifting around in my hand and didn't give me much confidence in handling the phone.

I bought the Incase Slider in the pewter-type color and loved it! I bought the orange one because I like the color better, but handed the old color off to my husband. He had a hard-shell case from a different brand and found it made the phone bulky and it covered up the buttons and made them difficult to access easily. He says he barely notices his phone in his pocket compared to before.

We both love our slider cases. Yes, they are a little difficult to take off, but isn't that the point? They're the perfect size and texture and provide the best functionality for the phone.

This is a great case! i love the orange metallic color, its not glittery but more like a iron man light red color lol. got it yesterday from apple store, its the new incase slider edition that comes with a nice clear stand and a new slide out packaging. soft feel is great and you have silicone guard rails inside the case. price is high but you cannot get it cheaper. This case is just plan junk, the case cracked the first week just taking it off, the rubber sliders lasted about 1 month till the phone was so loose in the case it felt like it was going to fall off, it's not worth 10.00 More

    Good product!

This is a good case. It protects the iPhone well. I've dropped it several times and the case doesn't scratch easily and the phone hasn't been damaged. I have no problems with the color rubbing off. My only complaint would be that the case doesn't lock so the two pieces can be separated quite easily. This is particularly frustrating for me since I keep my phone in my pocket at work and when I take it out, one piece usually stays in my pocket. Other than that, I think it is an excellent case. I have a number of cases for my iPhone but my favourite has to be the incase slider. I found that the screen protectors lifted up at edges when the case was on until i tried the power support anti glare which i think is thinner . You don't need to purchase a screen protector but the anti glare eliminates finger prints. Hope this has been helpful. Enjoy your phone. More
