Love these headphones!!!
Written by DL from Mechanicsburg

I just got these headphones today, as a replacement for my Apple earbud headphones that I got with my Ipod-- my second pair where the top of the left earbud broke off (ugh.) I am super happy with my new Roxy ones. The color is really fun, and the sound is great! It's a little flat and not as crisp as my (now broken) Apple headphones, but the bass for in-ear headphones is really good. I also love the fact that they are universally compatible with both Ipods and music cellphones, as my Apple ones did not fit in my phone. The built in microphone feature is really cool- I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, but I like the idea of being able to use them for calls. The only negative thing about these headphones is the fact that they don't stay very well in my ears, I guess the headphones are more for static usage and not for moving around/exercising. The other thing is is that they only come with two different sizes of rubber pads, and even though I have fairly small ears, I had to use the bigger size. Just a warning to those of you with bigger ears! Last, but not least, I absolutely love the polka dot case it came with. It's adorable and the perfect size for my Ipod Touch. I thought the price of these headphones was a little expensive at first, but the case makes it well worth it. Five stars for cute, headphones with great sound (and the awesome case that came with them!)!!! …More

Great

The earphones that come with the Iphone are way too big and clunky for my ears. I wanted some that had the capability of receiving calls and were more comfortable. I couldn't believe the price of the ones which fit that description! These are more reasonable, the sound quality is great, callers can hear me just as if I were holding up the phone and the colors actually grew on me. I'm very pleased with the purchase. …More

JBL ROXY In-Ear Headphones with Microphone
Great for the price

I'm rough on headphones. I live in the city so they get jammed in my pocket when I go into a store, thrown in my bag and pulled out daily when I'm getting off and on the train. I've invested in $100+ headphones just to have them break a couple of months later.
This time around I'd decided to grab a cheap pair knowing I'd break them and have to buy new ones. These looked cute and I know that JBL offers good sound quality at a reasonable price.
I just bought these and I have to say the sound quality is exactly what I wanted it to be. It's very full and fairly clear. I like bassy sound, though. Oftentimes high quality headphones don't have enough bass for me.
The only thing I'd change is the cord length. It's a little short for my taste, but it seems like these are made for a younger audience, anyway. They should also include spare earbuds - they come with one small size, one large size.
For the pricetag, these are a fantastic pair of headphones. …More86 of 94 people found this useful

Wasted My Money: Duped by these other reviews
Written by CW from Orlando

Short: They fall out. Feel like ears are popping when wearing. Bad cable and case.
Long: I was wavering between Apple's headphone and something else. Went for this. I shouldn't have. The headphones will not stay in my ears. It comes with two sizes but that still does not work. I've never had issues with other headphones. I try to rest them in my ear at an angle so the sides of my ears will hold them in but that doesn't work. I have to remain absolutely still (while seated even) just to keep them in and actions such as a yawn, sip or chew are enough to knock them out. Alternatively, I can jam them clear in which works for a short while. However, this is not comfortable and feels like my ears are popping (like on a plane). Also, I don't like jamming things in my ear due to potential sanitary and ear canal issues. Two other complaints: (1) The case is huge for something this small (I only use it due to cleanliness issues) and... embarrassingly darn ugly (i'm not a 13 year-old girl). Also, the gummy wires tend to stick together, making them a tangled mess.
Glad they worked for others but these failed on all important counts for me. Even hard to say what the sound quality is though as everything appears muffled in my ears due to the bad fit. …More2 of 4 people found this useful

Love

These headphones are great. The cord is perfect length for my phone to sit in my back pocket and listen to music or talk. The sound is great for a casual music listener and for phones calls. My call recipients have no complaints on the sound quality of the microphone.
The ear buds are really comfortable too! I have small ears and these fit perfectly. I would buy these again. I use them every day. …More2 of 3 people found this useful
