    Hi.. it's made of neoprene (wetsuit material). Neoprene was designed for divers. It allows water to enter the material, and form a thin layer between it and the human body. This water layer is naturally warmed by the human body and keeps the diver warm. Pretty much a long winded way of saying NUP.. it's not waterproof. I imagine the design and choice of material is more for a cushioning effect. …More
