Things
very helpful tool for busy professionals. Well worth the money
Written by MC from Norman
Aug 31, 2009
I have Things for my iphone and Mac. I love the way it can handle many different to do lists at the same time and I can sync Things with my iphone so the list goes with me everywhere. It also synchs with the iCal, so the things due for that day appear with your calendar appointments. You can also create recurring items. I create most of my lists on the Mac (a little easier than on the iphone).
This is very easy to use. I'm a very busy person and don't have time to spend hours learning how to use a new app. You can download a trial version for free. If you do, you'll probably end up buying it. …More21 of 22 people found this useful

Gem. Stunning. Awesome. Clean. Uncluttered. Well thought out. Like Apple.
Worth the price. However I need to buy both the Mac and iPhone versions, and hence I am waiting for a discount. Hope Cultured Code guys offer some kind of promotion, as its been very long since they last had one!
How about Things for Mac & iPhone together for 50$! …More25 of 33 people found this useful

The first GTD app that made me realize I needed a GTD app
Written by JS from Massapequa
Sep 19, 2009
I've always had a hard time coming to terms with the necessity of a GTD application.
I've tried a few and the utility just never felt worth the effort for me. I tried Things and it clicked with me instantly. It's simply my perfect GTD app. Having become fond of Things, and with my newfound appreciation for apps of its type, I'd tried others to see what's out there, but I really can't find a program put together so intuitively and so direct.
When I compare Things to whatever else I've tried, it really feels like comparing OS X to Windows or Linux. It's just made well and Cultured Code nails the UI and gets it right. …More13 of 13 people found this useful

Awesome for Personal Or Business
Written by MT from Midland
Dec 22, 2009
I bought this to replace my old "yellow pad" at the office to keep me organized and on task. The possibilities are endless and the organization can be suited to your own personal thought processes. I like this product so much, I am now buying it for all of my employees (family licenses). I also track my personal stuff on here and can print one list out for business, one for personal, and a combined one each day. With the iPhone ap added in, this is ESSENTIAL BUSINESS SOFTWARE!!! …More

When a txt file won't cut it
Written by AP from High Point
Dec 14, 2009
Sometimes a simple list is all you need, but once you get beyond the usefulness of a txt file, Things is a big help. Lots of different ways to organize your tasks and a really great-looking interface. Things makes it easy to keep track of urgent to-do items, or items you just want to back-burner but not forget about. Cultured Code obviously put a lot of thought into the app. …More

Ideal OSX and iPhone app combo
Written by CD from Los Gatos
Nov 25, 2009
Was unsure about taking the plunge to a separate OSX app just for To Do's but it's been a great decision. Initially I was just thinking of it as a list maker app but it does so much more and has actually changed how I plan things. Love the "Someday" category.
Syncing with the iPhone app is a breeze. I had it grab all my iCal to do's too. Didn't miss any.
They've obviously spent time actually using the app they've developed and added some cool features. …More5 of 6 people found this useful

Does Things have a Push like mechanism on my iPhone and Mac (so events pop-up)
- Asked by RR from Oirschot
- Oct 18, 2009
Best Answer
Things is a task manager for tasks such as "Make Dentist appointment" or projects like "Summer Vacation", not an event manager for events such as the actual Dentist appointment. Events are appointments, different from tasks or projects.
Therefore, you should use an application like iCal if you wish to receive alarms or notifications for events or appointments. …More- Answered by MS from Stuttgart

It's for a single user license, which is flexible, and allows you to install Things on as many computers as you have (as long as you are the only user).
Additionally, you can upgrade to a Family Pack license (up to 5 users, living in the same household) for only US$25.00 at Cultured Code's web store. …More- Answered by MS from Stuttgart
