    Pretty Sweet..

Wasn't sure about buying this since there were no reviews. Really happy I did, this thing ROCKS!.. It's pretty loud for how small it is and one of my favorite things is that I don't have to take out the case that I have on my ipod touch, it actually fits right on there with my case still attached. Plus it's perfect for tossing it in my backpack and going to the beach or any outdoor activity. I highly recommend purchasing this if you're looking for a portable speaker for your ipod. More

cuts in and out REALLY badly

Written by DK from Deer Lodge

It sounds quite good when it plays. It cuts in/out nearly constantly while playing music with either batteries or AC. And with the correct holder in place. It's heavier than I expected but that I could have handled. I mistakenly thought it HELD the iPHone (etc) when closed and zipped. It does not. Again I for the price I could have lived with that. Music jerking off/on many many times even in one song....... No I can't handle it and I am about to return it to the Apple Store. More

    Don't Buy it

Written by AM from State College

    Sep 20, 2009

It's great at first but after about a month or so it'll start to give you problems. It does cut in and out really bad and thats because in the beginning the lid doesn't close all the way so it will keep your ipod held in place. But after using it for a while the lid will no longer support it and your music will cut in and out or not work at all. Unless you have the patience to hold your ipod in place as it plays do not purchase this item. More

I bought it despite the negative reviews!

    Written by MD from Ottawa

I must say I'm pretty impressed with this product! I use it for my office at work. The sound is decent for such a small device and it can go pretty loud. I don't understand people who complain about the iPod/iPhone not staying still/falling if not holding it? If you put the right insert, it should stay still perfectly, no need to hold it or to readjust it.

    The good:
    - Very portable! Not too small not too big
    - Very good sound considering the size of the product
    - It charges while you listen!

    The bad
    - music starts automatically when you insert the ipod, which I find annoying at work cause I sometimes put my music louder and it blasts in my office.....
    - No remote control. You have to change the music manually on your iPhone. Changing playlist and all is a bit annoying; it's easier to take it off of the dock

    I hope this helps!

    AMAZING Portable Sound!

Written by JB from SAN DIEGO

This thing is amazing! My brother won a limmited edition Roxy QuikSilver version of this before it was for sale and now six months later this iHome version is all mine... They sound the exact same, which says a lot because it's better than my Bose speaker at home. The max bass is so strong you can feel the air come out if the bass ports if you hold you hand in front of the speaker. More

Yes, I bought it this past summer. It works great. Sounds really good for the size and portability. Obviously you can get bigger better sounding speakers, but I'm very impressed with the sound that comes from this. For the price and size it's perfect. More

I was told by an Apple salesperson in ABQ, NM that it only charges the phone when plugged into AC. I'm having some concerns on shielding myself. I am reading some places where when the phone pings towers for email and other services, that the speakers distort. I haven't seen this for myself. Looks like a great product if my last concern isn't true. More
