    A perfect game BUT!!!!! I'm using mac but i installed it on windows

    i'm using macbook pro 15" unibody aluminum....when i was playing the game on mac i found out that the graphics were not that good, it's not smooth at all...i tried to change all the settings to HIGH, and change the resolution. I tried evrything, I even removed my windows on mac, but nothing happened....so I decided to re-reboot my macbook pro to install windows and try to install sims3.... Then I found out that it's better, it's more faster, I love the smoothness of the characters and objects, and I've realized that when it comes to games, windows is much better......but still i totally love MAC :D...

    But i'm still wondering why sims 3 didn't work well on mac, i have 4gb of memory, higher gaphic cards, higher GHZ, my specs was perfect for the sims 3? so why was it like that? I'm sad about it....     …More

    It was crazy. I made a Sim of me, playing as a person in an Apple Store, playing a game.

    This game is more like Sims 1.5, stick with Sims 2.

    Good at first, but boring after a while.

    As one of the original The Sims players, I was quite excited about this game coming out. After looking at the videos previews and reading the articles], I felt that The Sims 3 was going to be the best out of the lot. I was right for the first 3 weeks, it was so much fun experiencing the new look and tasks it offered. However, I personally feel that it is missing certain elements that The Sims 2 had that The Sims 3 doesn't; The Sims 2 has more cartoonish effect, and The Sims 3 a bit to realistic for my liking. This may be due to the fact that the first transition of The Sims and The Sims 2 was such as changed, I feel like my expectations of something totally different wasn't totally satisfied. However, with the up coming Expansion pack coming out in 2 months, it look like it might improve much more. Thank you for reading this. …More
