AMAZING PRODUCT
Written by EB from kirkwood

i just got back from the pool and i needed to share my experience with u guys, i received my H2O audio in the morning and i was excited about the chance to test this case at the pool, i went to the pool after my class, i chose the XS size of earplugs which fitted great inside my ears and i got in the pool, the sensation of swimming with music is great and i did a long swim of 90 minutes and my earplugs did never fall out during all the time that i spent in the pool, the sound impressed me, i was expecting a lower quality of sound, but these guys did an amazing job with this product, if you try to dive a little, i mean if you try to go to the botton of the pool(which is 3 mts) you will feel how the sound level goes down..but of course this guy was created for swimming and it was great, the sound is clear, you can perfectly listen your music, and the best of everything is a great motivator during ur workout, without this guy after 45 or 50 min of swimming i was boring, but now i could take my workout up to 90 min...when i was done with my swimming and i got out from the pool, i opened the case and my ipod was completely dried .....believe this is a great investment if u are planing to transforme ur shuffle in your swimming mp3........... …More

Monotony managed!
Written by JS from SEATTLE
May 15, 2009
This device has made my long lap workouts far more enjoyable. I had the initial static/low volume issues, but per the manual this worked itself out after a couple of uses. The sound quality is quite good (considering the environment and background noise) and the product seems durable (2 months use so far.)
Note that you should insert the earbuds while both you and the buds are DRY - otherwise, water in your ear canal can reduce volume and make the buds more likely to slide out while swimming. Using the dry insertion method, I've never had the buds come out during flip turns. …More60 of 65 people found this useful

Great product!
Written by JH from Honolulu

I used another brand of waterproof MP3 for the past year, but had may problems (went thru 3 players). I got this for my birthday and love it! I occasionally have problems with the earbuds coming lose during flipturns, but I can live with that. I actually like flanged earbuds, maybe Apple could include or sell optional earbuds? I also use it while running cross country...I just clip it to the back of my T-shirt and then it doesn't matter how much it rains (I live in Hawaii) when I'm running, I can still listen to my shuffle (previously I put it in a ziploc bag, but was still worried about it).
Anyway, great product, and whenever I use it I get lots of envy and questions. I swim a mile every day since back surgey, and having tunes while swimming is great!

Couldnt be happier
Written by CG from Florham park

This product is fantastic. It takes the boredom out of swimming laps. Small and doesnt get in the way, the sound is great, just like on dry land. The key is to put the earphones in before getting in the water and getting your ears wet. I have a lot of other people asking me about it everytime im swimming and I tell them its well worth it. Much better than just listening to water slosh by your head and daydreaming. Makes the miles go by much faster …More

Pretty Good
Written by AV from Markham

The product is pretty good. Sound quality is good and the iPod is kept dry.
I had trouble getting the earbuds to fit but it's better with a swim cap. You MUST use a swim-cap -- it makes a huge difference. In particular, make sure you use a tight latex or silicone swim cap -- don't use a polyester match cap. The cap must be very tight around the ears to hold the earbuds in.
If you don't use a swimcap, I do not recommend this product since there is a good chance the ear buds will pop out.
I'm happy overall -- swimming with music is amazing …More1 of 1 people found this useful

Waste of Money for Me
Written by ST from Marietta

Glad these are working out for some folks, but for me they're nothing but a problem. First issue is fit. I simply could not get any of the five sizes to stay in for more than a couple of laps. (And I tried each size for a full 2 km workout.) Swim cap didn't help. My ear openings are concave rather than cylindrical, and none of the ear tips would go deep enough to stick. Next problems are the fragile, hard plastic attachment points for the cords. Especially with the carrying case provided (which is an *extremely* snug fit), they're just begging to be broken. Sure enough, mine snapped off and needed some water-proof epoxy to repair. Final straw is now, after only 4 months of use, the left bud is mute. I will admit when they're working the sound is great, but that's too rare an event to make them worthwhile for me. …More
