    I have the Air Mount TC for the time-capsule which has just been released. Very durable plastic and great design. Mounted on wall. No problems with Time Capsule sliding past the stop at all, it's very solid. I like the corkscrew drywall hardware that is supplied as it provides a secure tap for the screws.     I've Been Waiting & Waiting For A Product Like This!

    I've been looking & looking for a mount for the Time Capsule & Apple TV & finally yesterday I stumbled across it on Apple's Store Website. Quickly researched it & found out they also make a wall mount for the Apple TV called TV Tray. I didn't want to wait for shipping so I drove to the Manufacturer seems they were in my back yard & bought both the Air Mount TC & TV Tray directly from the Manufacturer H-Squared, LLC in Bellevue WA. Anyways, after a few questions I quickly purchased both mounts & drove home & within 1 & 1/2 Hrs I had my Time Capsule Mounted on the Ceiling upside Down with no wires showing at all & had my Apple TV Mounted on the Wall with no wires showing, I hooked up both the Apple TV & Time Capsule with the LED light that plugs in to the useless Service USB ports which lights up the clear Acrylic Plastic Mount and makes my Time Capsule & Apple TV Glow (it comes with the Apple TV TV Tray ONLY & is an add on accessory for the Air Mount TC). I highly recommend H-Squared, LLC's Air Mount TC & TV Tray! Worth Every Penny. …More

    Great Idea! Poor Design! Capsule falls right out!

    Great idea, very slick looking. BUT, the "integrated stop" or lip at the bottom that prevents your Time Capsule from "sliding" out is only about 1/8" thick. The slightest movement of the Time Capsule such as when you are dusting the unit, any adjusting/unplugging/plugging of the power/USB/Ethernet cable, or simply bumping the unit....AND IT SLIPS RIGHT PAST the "Integrated stop" and FALLS RIGHT OUT ....And there goes your $300-$500 hard drive that has all your most important information backed up on it. So surprised at how overlooked this was in the design. It looks slick, but it's just not worth the risk. If you must use it, you MUST mount is sideways. That is the only way to prevent this Accident Waiting To Happen. …More

    Great until....

    Loved it, but the first time we removed the Time Capsule from the mount and put it back in - the bottom brace that holds it in place broke without any pressure. Now we have it back in place, but had to rig it so it doesn't drop on the floor. I'm calling Apple tomorrow to see if they will make it right. $40 is a lot to spend if it doesn't hold up to a ONETIME removal! …More

    A must have for the Time Capsule!

    I bought this to keep my Time Capsule in a secure location on my wall behind my iMac. It fits perfectly and does the job well. You can mount the Time Capsule sideways if you want to but is not necessary. A must have to protect and keep your Time Capsule out of harms way on a stand or desk top. A++++ …More

    Certainly. If the mount is installed upright, you can install the Time Capsule in the "cables down" or the "cables up" orientation. There is a built-in stop at the bottom of the mount that prevents a Time Capsule from sliding completely through. The built-in stop will not interfere with your cables.

    Regardless how you orient it, the softer bottom of the Time Capsule will face the surface to which the mount has been attached. If your unit does not fit snugly in the mount and slips past the stop, you may be trying to install an AirPort Extreme in a Time Capsule mount.     …More

    No, it does not fit and does not have a separate mount for the AirPort Extreme's power supply (since a Time Capsule does not at this time have an external power supply).

    You should use the "H-Squared Air Mount for AirPort Extreme" found under Mac Accessories > Extras, or under Mac Accessories > AirPort & Wireless.     …More
