I was a bit iffy about buying this case b/c so many other people say that they get scratches and you cant open the mac more than 90 degrees! so i took the plunge and bought this one. This is my first macbook so i wanted to take extra care and decided on getting this pink one.When i got it in the mail it WASNT pink but 2 different colors.I checked online to see if the product says its pink and couldn't find it? on the box that it came in it says "2 TONE". I love the way it looks on my mac though. its a magenta/pink on top and a darkish red/plum color on bottom.i've only had it for a week and i took it off to check my mac and NO SCRATCHES at all! i can open my mac more than 90 degrees and i see nothing wrong with this case. it looks good on my mac, protects my mac, and i get noticed everywhere b/c of it :] over all this is a good buy. …More

I really liked this case, when I first got it. It has a unique soft feel to it and stays true to apple's sleek style. Many people, who saw my case, complimented it. There are a few problems though. Dirt particles get trapped in between the case and the laptop, which if not clean could scratch the laptop and the case is very difficult to remove. Also, it limits, though slightly, how far you can open your laptop. It only opens about 95 degrees with the case on. Lastly, while the other problems are minor and facts I didn't mind, I now have one big issue with this product. It cracked! I paid $50 for a case that cracked in less than 6 months of use! That's almost $10 a month! I do not plan on buying this product again, and hopefully if you choose to, you will not have my fortune. …More

why so few colors?

when i ordered this case over the summer it was available in more colors! other than that, i've had it on my macbook ever since and love it. i can remove it just fine (just move the tabs back and make sure you hook the bottom half to the back of the computer before you snap it back on) -- and as long as the computer was wiped with a dustcloth beforehand, the computer is spotless after. though with some USB appliances their plastic gets in the way of being able to connect to the computer, ive only had this happen once and it was an irregularly shaped flashdrive. it's a wonderful product, and when i had my computer serviced at the macstore i was complimented on having the best kept college-kid computer he'd seen, it's surviving art school strength filth perfectly! …More

First of all,I bought this case because my macbook 13 inch was getting scratched up. So I decided to buy this and I am more than satisfied and it exceeded my expectations. First of all, it is very soft and nice looking on your macbook and it protects it from anything. It is easy to clean and finger print proof. Although it is very hard to remove, but you have to take your time. I have had it for about 1 yr now and so far my case has about 3 scratches. It's amazing it seems like it's stainless steel. this is a terrible case! you can't open the screen fully as compared to when the case is off. and the pegs that hold the case onto the laptop itself broke off! my mac doesn't leave my desk at home so it doesn't experience wear and tear that would be expected for the pegs to fall off! …More

overall, i am satisfied with the case. it protects my mac from scratches...but i do have one issue. the headphone jack is partially blocked when the case is on. when i want to use headphones, i have to slide part of the case down and then insert my headphones. other than that, money well spent! …More
