Surge sound quality is excellent both above and below the water. Great for lap swimming, triathlon training, wakeboarding, skiing etc. ANYWHERE you want to listen to your favorite playlist. Serious athletes use H2O for training and to make workouts more fun.

If you love to work out and build up a serious sweat this is the set-up for you. I have used other sport bands that will leak liquid into the IPOD which ruins the IPOD quickly and voids any waranty. I just received a totally useless IPOD back from APPLE repair that I used less than 3 months, and of course they wont fix it. (sweat went inside the wheel). I love to get drenched when I run or do any serious cardio. It's just a shame that they allow armbands for sale, even in the apple store, that are not made for their intended use. If you jog, common sense will tell you that you will sweat, then when your IPOD gets ruined you do without or buy another--- save the hassle and get this set up.
The sound is great after you use the headset for about an hour. Your IPOD is completely protected and always dry after workouts. I have not used mine in the water and unless I fall off my boat I don't intend to. Spend the extra money and get these.
The only downside is you dont have access to the volume, wheel, etc; but with a long play list, this is not an issue for me. …More153 of 173 people found this useful

Decent case, but found that the volume control moved during use unless I locked the iPod down. Of course once I did that, I could not skip through songs. The headphones are better than a previous model I have used, but if water leaks in once, you lose your seal for the rest of your swim and can hear nothing through the headphone. …More

Pay attention to the directions, lock it down, enjoy.
It's that simple. Never in my life did I think I would swim laps while listening to streaming radio outside my condo.
The sound quality is fantastic but if you are one who needs to fuss with every song and change volume all the time, skip the iphone and check out the manufacturer's site for other options.
