Belkin 9-Pin to 4-Pin Cable (FireWire 800/400), 6 Feet
Didn't work for me with Apogee Duet
Written by GD from Califon

I've used lots of Belkin stuff and have always been satisfied. I cannot recommend this cable however.
I bought this soley to use my Apogee Duet with my new 17" Macbook Pro. The cable does not provide power to the Duet. I plugged the Duet into another mac that has Firewire 400, and it powers up fine, so it's not the Duet.
What's worse, my Macbook Pro got REALLY hot while this cable was connected.
It's going back. I'll buy the cable from Apogee. It's cheaper there too.
Not recommended. …More46 of 103 people found this useful
