Live Interiors 3D Professional offers 3D visualization that makes you feel as if you’re in a redesigned home or office. It goes beyond relatively straightforward designs, allowing you to create multi-story interiors, walls with different surface materials, custom light sources, any 3D object directly using Google SketchUp, and to alter any supplied material or come up with a new one.
You’re free to experiment with a wide variety of arrangements before deciding exactly which improvements to make. The program can also help you see whether the furniture you’ve got in mind will actually fit the interior.
Floor plansConveniently draw CAD-like 2D plans of your house or apartment, using flexible wall, ceiling, and other drawing tools. Place dimension marks and custom annotations on the 2D plan and more.
3D environmentIn real-time walkthrough mode, you have absolute freedom to look at your interior from any point of view and make any changes.
Add and position furniture objects in 3D mode, change their dimensions via Inspector, re-paint everything--simply drag and drop material onto any object, wall, or ceiling.
Adjust various light sources on the fly, select the color of the lighting, set daytime, and even control sunlight and moonlight.
Content diversity and import capabilitiesThe 1200-plus 3D objects and 1300-plus surface materials supplied with Live Interior give you impressive flexibility to experiment with interiors. You can import custom 3D objects either in popular Google SketchUp or 3DS format.
Compose your own object and material libraries in Live Interior 3D by creating custom categories and adding to them the objects and materials you selected.
And integration with Google 3D Warehouse provides access to an online database with an endless number of 3D objects created in Google SketchUp that you can download and import directly to your Live Interior 3D project.

Sky is the limit with this program. I am a working Interior designer and thus far I have secured two jobs amounting at 100k with this program. The secret?! Shapes. You could designs almost any thing with the shapes. The existing library has sufficient objects . But if you don';t find what you want you construct from shapes they give you. I hope they would come up with update ( I would even pay for) of more objects. The out come is very realistic. all in all A+ …More

great visuals! clients love it!

This software is a great tool to present ideas and designs to prospective clients. The native library of objects is respectable, but do get available supplements. The fact that this software communicates so well with the "google warehouse" is a major plus, giving access to thousands of designer furniture pieces, and all sorts of other objects.
The color and finish library is adequate to convey the idea of most materials, although scale is sometimes off. The reflectivity of finishes gives the rendering a really "expensive" look, which adds to the wow factor when presenting to the client. The lighting renderings are also very good.
I did find that the designing of kitchens in particular was a bit time consuming, due to having to resize everything, and I still have not figured out how to make vaulted rooms, if that's at all possible...
Overall, I am very satisfied with the software, and my clients were impressed! I secured my first ever condo remodel using Live, which I learnt to use in only days!
For the price, it's an exceptional value. I would recommend it!

Waste of money

Lacks many models and effects. One has to borrow from Google to design anything close to what you may want. Difficult to apply multiple effects to a wall. After designing the entire house, I found it very difficult to navigate through rooms and apply effects. I should have kept to Google Sketch and saved 140 or just had my husband render the house in 3D max. I can't imagine how an interior designer would be happy with this software. …More
