iSkin Solo Case for iPhone 3G (Black)
Awesome Case.

The case fits like a glove and is very low profile. Unlike the other rubber/silicone cases, this one has a hard feel to it. It also comes with a screen protector that is easy to apply, but hard to adjust (so get it right the first time). Once on, it looks and feels great, like there is no protector on it. Great case construction and fit/finish is perfect. …More

iSkin Solo Case for iPhone 3G (Black)
Great basic protection
Written by EB from Sacramento

I like this case because it is not a rubbery, flimsy silicon case that collects lint like the others I've tried. This case is a firm and glossy type of rubber that doesn't stick to fabrics, so taking it in and out of a pocket isn't a hassle. Although the other reviewer stated it can get 'gross & sticky' from lots of handheld use, the glossy finish can easily be wiped clean with a shirt or sleeve (similar to wiping the screen after being held to your face for calls), but as long as your hands are clean it's not even an issue. It comes with a tough screen protector that's made of a surprisingly thick plastic, but I've yet to apply it since I already have a screen protector on my iPhone; however, it looks a little tricky to apply. Overall, this is a great fitting case that doesn't add any bulk to the iPhone, but still does a great job protecting it from everyday wear-and-tear as well as minor drops. …More

iSkin Solo Case for iPhone 3G (Black)
Best of the rubber skins
Written by PB from West Vancouver

I didn't want a lint-gathering pocket-pulling silicon job, but I still wanted a case that would cushion a fall. I have a white iphone, but ordered black because I read that the white solo got grimy after a while.
First problem with the iSkin Solo is it does not fit the way I wanted it to. It lifts (an unnoticeable amount) in front of the headphone jack. More importantly, the cut-out for the jack itself is not centered and it's hard to insert my headphones.
The iSkin Solo soon develops a slippery, greasy feel with skin oils on it, not a good feature, and makes me want to give the phone a wash.
Would I buy this case again? I don't think so. But I can see its good points and I'm still using it. …More49 of 56 people found this useful

Best Skin Case

I was using an Incase Frame Case (went through 3) but because they kept spliting at the headphone cutout I was looking for a similar case. The Solo is even better than I expected. It has some grip which I wanted to prevent accidentally dropping it but does not have any areas that will teat like the Incase. …More

ISkin Solo

I love this case. It grips just enough to keep the phone from sliding around on surfaces or from falling out of my pocket or purse. The dark color (I got the blue one) gives it just enough a personal touch of style without bringing too much attention to it. I did have difficulty getting the air bubbles out of the screen protector, but that is no biggie. …More

Great Case!!!
Written by AW from Philadelphia

I bought this case after researching for hours and reading a lot of other reviews. So far after a few months of wear and tear it has held up great! I have dropped the phone about 2 times and it was completely unharmed each time. The feel of the case is great also and easy to put on. My only regret is getting it in white because it has gotten dirty pretty fast so I would recommend a darker color. I ordered from the iSkin website and also received a free face cover to protect from scratches which I would also recommend! I LOVE this case. …More

It's definitely blue and darker than what the picture shows. I would compare it to a royal blue.
