Great Camera
Written by CR from Fort Worth

This is my first big boy camera and its everything I hoped and dreamt it would be. Colors are fantastic and image quality is great.
This is great for macro-photography, Landscape, and still life. Sports is lacking with the provided lens.
Connects with mac flawlessly
a little expensive, but worth it after you take that first "Wow" picture knowing you can blow it up to poster size and not run into problems. …More163 of 166 people found this useful

Love these Cameras
Written by AT from Bradenton

I own a Virtual Tour business and own 3 of these cameras. We shoot about 1000 shots a day on each, 5-6 days a week. I use one and I have contract photographers using the 2 others. As you might expect they don't take very good care of them. Despite this, they work flawlessly and take excellent photos. Never been cleaned or serviced and my original camera has probably taken half a million photos. …More

For a Starter DSLR, there is nothing else that comes close
Written by MM from Doylestown

Nikon used to have Canon beat in the color accuracy department, and Canon was better with overall clarity and crispness... not anymore. i've seen side by sides, the Nikon can't even compete and neither can the Sony. i took this thing out for about 6 hours yesterday... for the price this camera is extremely fast. menu navigation is quick, and continuous snap shots are not bad, since this is an entry level.
my only two gripes are. no video record mode, so i'll have to keep my old camera for this. also the finish they use on the body although great lookin, is prone to smudges and scratches. they wipe away easily, but something about the finish just picks up anything it touches.
regardless, this thing is the best entry level DSLR hands down …More16 of 17 people found this useful

It Really Rocks
Written by MK from Houston

I have had the Camera for a month now and it rocks. It is a great entire level DSLR camera. I could not be happier with it and it let me get into the DSLR Water without spending a lot for one. After using it for a while now I know at some point I will want a mid level DSLR. But for now I staying with this one since it take such out standing pictures. The RAW setting is outstanding and when you edit them in a program like Aperture. The Photos just pop and look so good. I would recommended this Camera or even the EOS Rebel XSi either one would be great for dipping your toes in the world of the DSLR. …More
