No more iPhone buzz!
Written by BF from Palo Alto

I bought these speakers for one reason. The buzz from bringing my iPhone near my computer speakers was driving me crazy. These speakers are electronically shielded, and it was the end of it. For anyone with the same problem, please know these speakers are excellent.
As for the quality of them, I've been impressed. They sound much better than the old ones, though they are not the best I've ever used. Their aesthetic also fits in with the clean, unusual look typical for Apple products.

Big sound, good price
Written by KA from Chicago

I have an HDMI cable so I can hook my MacBook Pro up to my TV, watching video files, etc. on the big screen. There is no sound with that option, though, and the laptop's speakers aren't ideal for filling a room with several people. I bought these for a party to view NCAA basketball games which weren't being aired on the local network affiliate, but are streamed on the network's website. Whoa! I was just hoping that it would be audible over a crowd of friend chatting, but it sounded like the big speakers at a sports bar. And they're about $50 less than most of the other options and easily tuck behind the TV when not in use. Good speakers for the price. …More

NOT WORTH IT!

I had tried these out, and they sounded fine, turned it up a little and was told to turn it down.
Based on what I heard in the store I decided to buy them. When I tried them out at home, they were terrible, no bass at all! The highs were fine, ok on the mids and the low end was a no show. I believe they would be fine for an office where you cannot turn up the volume over a conversation level. I returned them the next day and got the expressionist bass series, clear highs with ample bass, very good for small house parties or movie watching on your comp. 100x better. spend the extra and get those instead. …More11 of 12 people found this useful
