Im going to try this on a PC, it just was a big disappointment. Do not buy.

After reading all the bad reviews I almost didn't buy Casino Games 2009. But for only $20 bucks, I figured what the hay. Well, the…Read morese games are a lot better than I expected. In fact they work very well and I had zero problems with display and function. Runs perfectly on my Mac Pro Quad and MAcBook Pro. Doesn't work on older Power PC Macs so keep that in mind if you have an G4 or iBook. I wish screen rez was adjustable as it looks rather low rez on a Cinema Display--kinda like watch regular TV on a HDTV set.
The interface is very fiddley with the identities, speech and music, but the slots and table games are great practice for Vegas! I prefer a prettier and more high tech graphic representation of video poker or blackjack. As is, the screen view is a little too realistic! Looks exactly like those old CRT video poker machines in Vegas. I wouldn't mind assigned keys for functions like hit, deal, etc., as mousing everything is tiring. I leave the sound off as the music is terrible and I don't need to hear the stupid comments by fake players. But great value for few bucks and a good trainer.(6 of 7 people found this review useful)

Great selection of casino games from Blackjack to Keno and Horse Racing. …Read moreTalking characters are awesome and interaction between players (offline) is great! This product is worth more than the $19.99 sale price. Great crisp, clean, and smooth graphics.

Hoyle Casino does not work with the dual GPU's on the MacBook Pro. When running the program large black boxes appear and the scree…Read moren does not refresh correctly, which makes the game completely unusable.
Hopefully there will be a fix soon, but until there is don't waste your money. I learned the hard way and am now stuck with an open box of installed and unusable software. I want the game, so I will wind up using it on a windows box, but I really wanted to run it on my primary laptop, especially for travel.(26 of 31 people found this review useful)
