How long did we have to wait for this to appear, let me count the months..and months...and months!!
This was hands down THE BEST jacket/clip combo for the 1st gen iphone and I thought for sure when the 3G was released the folks at Power Support would have a similar case ready at launch.
No such luck. After literally checking the Apple store online and in-person WEEKLY it took them nearly 5 months to finally release it.
But now that it's finally here, rest assured you will not find a more aethestically-appealing and protective hard case for your precious investment. The case itself really showcases the phone through it's clear covering and doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The belt clip holds the phone securely in place so there's little fear of it snapping out on it's own during strenuous activity. That's the key. Take it from someone who's already dropped his phone, broken the glass and had to get a replacement by using a different case. Ugh!

I have tried several other cases for my 3G. I tried the Naked case by casemate which was terrible, it was way too bulky. I also had a rubber sleeve that covered the back, it worked well but you couldn't see the back. THE BEAUTY of Apple products is that they are....well....Beautiful. They are engineered to be functional and nice to look at. This cases is perfect, it offers great protection, it shows off the phone, now everyone will know that you have an iPhone and the clip is magnificent. I absolutely love the stand that flips out. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT THE HARD CASE IS VERY CLEAR, VERY DURABLE AND ADDS VERY LITTLE WIDTH TO THE IPHONE, IT FEELS VERY STERDY IN YOUR HANDS TOO. NOT SLIPPERY AT ALL, CLIPS ON AND OFF EASYLY AND AT THE SAME TIME ITS SECURED WELL WHEN CLIPPED ON, THE CLEAR FILM IS GREAT ALSO APPLIED PERFECT THE FIRST TIME NO AIR BUBBLES. Overpriced but nice design!

I was in the market for a completely clear case for my new black iPhone 3GS. I wanted something that offered protection from scratches but didn't cover up the beautiful phone. I read and looked at a lot of cases on this site and came to this one. I liked that it came with a screen protector (thanks to the employee at apple store for installing it for me without ANY bubbles, you rock dude) and was completely clear unlike the Griffin iClear which has a frosty back but clear front. I installed it within a few days after getting my phone. Everything was great, it HAS a hole for the camera by the way and I enjoyed.
Then it was time to open it to clean it since a lot of dust had built up around the bezel and some in the back near the camera hole. Not too bad since it's not gonna be an air tight seal. When I opened it (using a credit card on the notch at the lower right corner as the box says) one of the top notches broke off. This was only about 2 weeks after putting the phone in. Then after another 2 weeks I open it to clean it again, the other notch breaks off. These notches are very thin plastic!
I agree with others saying its overpriced, I wish they would release it with only the clear case since I don't need the belt clip. My search for a completely clear and almost non visible case continues. I would consider buying another, but not at that price!
On a side note, the backing on the case creates pressure points that can be visible. This happened to me on a case I bought for an mp3 player, so it's not uncommon. …More1 of 2 people found this useful

I bought this case because I wanted a belt clip. The clip doubled as a stand (in portrait and landscape) which was nice. However, after 1.5 months of use the plastic in the upper left corner began to snag when taking out of the belt clip. Yesterday the snag finally broke the case - the plastic case bent and would not go back into position. Now every time the phone is removed from the clip, the case breaks open. …More
