Overview
Made of a thick neoprene layer, covered with suede-touch microfiber, the Second Skin Folder fits your MacBook Pro to perfection. It comes with a soft Microfiber blanket that protects the screen from scratches and the keypad from dust. The special over-lock stitching method makes the structure as snug and slim as possible. It does fit the late-2008 MB Pro's!

I just wanted to say that contrary to what is written in some reviews, this case does actually fit the late-2008 MB Pro's. I agree that the fit may be tight, but I prefer this over the too-loose feel of the InCase product. And the zipper DOES close completely!
I would also like to point out that this case offers little more than secondary protection for your computer.
That being said, it serves the purpose that I bought it for at least. The fit is snug, the inside is plush, and it is very thin, allowing me to fit it into a backpack when needed. It looks great and does its job. Just don't expect it to save your computer from a 10 foot fall!

Does not fit late 2008 15 inch MacBook Pro

The case is way to tight for late 2008 MacBook Pro. The neoprene is also really thin for my standard. The skin is really nice, very soft. The zippers are swen with a liner to proctect the computer, but it does not extend around the whole case. This unfortunately leaves the bottom corners and edges only marginally protected. Great But Not Perfect

I bought this for my Early 2008 MBP after returning the Incase Neoprene for fitting too loosely. I have to say I really like the way this case fits. There is minimal give around the sides and the MBP does not slide around in the case. It seems to be made well and will last for a while.
There are a few things that I am not too crazy about though. First off, I am not huge fan of the suede-microfiber material. It just didn't feel as nice in my hands as the incase. And second, there is an elastic cover inside the case to prevent the MBP from slipping and getting scratched by the zipper. This is nice to have but it causes there to be a slight bump that sticks out on the outside of the case when the laptop is in.

Fits late-2008 model (i.e. bought in April 2009) 15.4" macbook pro just fine - snug, secure fit. Comes with keyboard cover. "Microfiber" outside feels like suede or something - classy touch. Works great as a notebook sleeve that fits inside my regular bag. This is my second Tucano cover (first was neoprene for Powerbook G4 back in the day). Very happy with them. …More
