    Great film once again

Basically the same thing as the original iPhone version, completely fingerprint-proof, yet it isn't as clear as the Crystal Film version.

I found it incredibly easy to install by wetting the film before applying, and ended up with no air bubbles at all.

The only downside to the film, as some reviewers stated in the Crystal Film, is that it is a little less than 1mm too short on all sides so it doesn't fully cover the front side, but I haven't found that too be too much of an issue yet.

    Perfect!

I bought this product for my original iPhone, and a year later it still looks "like new". So I'm happy to report that the new anti-glare film for the iPhone 3G seems to be identical ... Power Support knew better than to tamper with perfection.

The key to using this product is to wipe your iPhone with a clean damp cloth then a clean dry cloth (not a paper towel) before applying the film.

Have two pieces of Scotch tape handy when you apply the film ... one to lift the corner of the film and another to gently remove a stray piece of dust from the iPhone, if necessary.

Thinking about it? Just get it!

I wasn't going to get this film until an Apple employee showed me his iPhone. I got it and it's great.
The film is slightly textured to give good feel.
    Absolutely no smudges or fingerprints.
Film is very thick, giving protection piece of mind
Absolutely no loss of touch screen sensitivity.
It does "gray" or dull the screen very very slightly. But, it's only noticeable the first 30 mins after it's on; then, you forget about it.

I've tried many different brands of protective film for several iPod models and both iPod touch and my iPhone. Some of them were a bit challenging to apply and some didn't last very long whether they started to peel or were easily scratched. Power Support's film is by far the best I have used. I have had it on my iPhone 3GS for a little over six months and it still looks as good as when I first applied it. Touchscreen sensitivity is not affected in the least.( I think Apple uses a capacitive type touchscreen anyway.) I would highly recommend this protective film to anyone wanting to preserve their touchscreen from everyday nicks and scratches. Well worth the few dollars for peace of mind for an investment like iPhone. More

    Excellent Product

This has to be the easiest one to install that I have ever used. Every other product that I have tried has left air bubbles in it, because they use an adhesive, that once laid down, are hard to remove.

With this product, which uses static to stick to the phone, you simply use a piece of scotch tape to lift up the film, and another piece of tape to remove the dust particle, and then lay it back down.

    Can be much better!

Biggest problem with these are putting them on. If one mistake you'll have air bubbles. don't touch the part that goes on the phone or you will big problems. They are good if everything is done just right! Too much money for plastic. More

The anti-glare film does what it's supposed to do, but it also changes the way the screen feels. It is slightly textured, so there's a little more friction under your finger. This texture also makes it practically impossible to put a crystal film, or any film for that matter, over it without having a lot of air bubbles. It also defeats the purpose of having an anti-glare film in the first place. if you're thinking of putting an anti-glare film over a crystal film, the only benefit I see would be the extra thick protection. However, you may notice that the phone won't pick up your gestures as well. The crystal film by itself, if applied correctly, just disappears and you hardly even notice that it's there. The feel is pretty much the same as the glass itself. More

Anti-Glare is essentially matte. That means it won't reflect the light. Crystal Film is pretty much the same as your iPhone screen - it's shiny/glossy. More

Well I use cleaner that you use for spectacles and spray some on whilst the film is still on the phone and a lint free cloth, like the one that comes with the phone. It still comes out crystal clear and smear etc... free. More
