Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties
Finally...

At long last, the final expansion pack for AOE3 has been released. I have been waiting quite some time for this game to appear in the Mac OS format, and it finally has!! This game adds three new Asian civilizations, each with new units and buildings and their own five-mission campaign. It's not surprising that the expansion maintains the excellent unit balance and exciting presentation that the series is known for. Asian Dynasties steps away a bit from the more fictional campaigns of previous games in the series in favor of a slightly more historical approach. Still, the fictional main characters in the campaigns give the designers room to tell a relatively unique story set within a firm historical framework. It's a great expansion. I like the new Countries, technologies, landscapes, etc. However, I found the "adventures" to be a little too weak, short, and they did not relate to the original A of Empires III story line. This is still a fun expansion to add though. …More
