Hurley Tweed Backpack
woven with excellence

I actually purchased this magnificent marvel a bit before it was available online. There are a few things to keep in mind though. This bag is HUGE. I am a biology student, and carry quite a load (which is subtle to my spine because of the elaborate padding) on my back. This book can fit my 13" MacBook, a binder, two 1.5" books, and an array of accessories. The main compartment is luxuriously apt to contain anything that you need to throw in it. The laptop portion of the backpack is padded with a soft fiber that leaves little to no lint to infiltrate your laptop. The second (middle) compartment is back to back, netted and fitted with an elastic band. This sounds like an amazing idea at first, but is soon found to be quite bothersome because of the snag factor. Also, during the winter season, this can prove to become subtly uncomfortable because of the feeling of the netting against cold hands. Another feature I would note is that this backpack has 16 pockets lining its interior. Alongside that, the backpack is not self standing (like some of the other backpacks), and does have a tendency to fall foreword if not properly positioned. Overall, (with the exception of the netting) this is an excellent product.

Hurley Tweed Backpack
Great support, lots of space!
Written by JR from Seattle

This backpack is by far the nicest I have ever had. I have a 15" Mac Book Pro, and with that and a few school books in this bag, it hardly puts any stress on my back! I also take the bus, and do quite a bit of walking every day, and STILL my back has no pain at the end of the day. The reason I picked this bag out was because of how padded the straps and back of the backpack were - they offer great support. I am very, very happy with this purchase. …More

Not only is this bag a good-looking bag but it has so much unexpected space! My 15" laptop slides right in and leaves plenty of more space for other items. Many compartments and pockets for storage. Great padding makes it fit and feel VERY comfortable. …More

I am currently contacting Hurley to see if they have a warranty or product replacement program. …More

Hurley Tweed Backpack
perfect size & look

This backpack is everything it is described to be. As you can see it is very stylish and the tweed has a nice feel to it. The backpack does not have the biggest storage, but for my needs it is perfect. I can fit my 15" Macbook Pro (along with power cord), my binder, and 2 books. I know a lot of reviewers have complained about the lack of storage, but that is the most that I would ever be carrying with me. There are a lot of compartments inside each zippered section; some of which seem a little unpractical and unnecessary because there are so many, however I have found that using just a few of them has come in handy. All in all this backpack was exactly what I was looking for to take to college. It has great protection for my Macbook Pro and is also stylish …More

Hurley Tweed Backpack
Nice for a while...
Written by RR from Weston

I had this backpack for about 5 months and for the first 2 or so months it held up well, but then the bottom started to rip(exposing my computer), zippers were falling off, and things kept falling apart. Also, I was always having problems with everything fitting because it is extremely thin and could barley hold my lunch box, books, and other silly things teenagers carry around. Now I was a middle school student when I had this back pack and of course, being a teenager, I probably didn't take as much care of it as an adult would in collage or something. My point is, if you are a younger student in middle or high school, who carries a lot of stuff(plus a computer), and can't take care of a back pack properly, do not buy this. …More
