The Tandberg T80± 77 StorageLibrary combines affordable, world-class automation with high capacity (77 data slots) and high performance--all in a space-saving 8U form factor. The new T80± incorporates Tandberg Data's new Pass-Thru feature, allowing additional drives and capacity when your storage needs grow. The T80± StorageLibrary can be configured with one LTO 4 Fibre Channel 4Gb drive and have up to 4 LTO Fibre drives. (Drives sold separately.)
The Tandberg StorageLibrary T80± base unit is available with 77 slots. The Capacity on Demand (COD) feature allows you to increase the number of slots from 77 to 188 and storage capacity from 61.6TB to 150TB/300TB*. The Performance on Demand (POD) feature allows you to install up to 10 full-height LTO drives in a stacked configuration.
The highly advanced redundant power supply feature detects power fluctuations and fan failures, preventing possible damage to the unit. The redundant power supply evenly distributes the power load across two power supplies, removing the single point of failure.
For ease of management, the Web Browser remote management interface allows users to monitor, control, configure, and diagnose the StorageLibrary from anywhere in the world.
The T80± StorageLibrary is ideally suited for budget-conscious midrange applications experiencing rapid data growth and decreased backup windows.

Answer
Total capacity depends on whether you use LTO-4 or LTO-5 drives & tapes. T80 has 77 slots for LTO tapes. So a single T80 (8U) can do the following:
LTO4 61.6TB (77 * 800GB per tape)
LTO5 123.2TB (77 * 1600GB per tape)
So five T80 storage libraries would take up an entire rack (40U) and have a capacity of around 600TB (385 LTO5 tapes). …More- Answered by Peter T from New York
