Sennheiser MM50 iP Headset for iPhone
home run!

i can hear a lot of details that i was missing before. the seal is great-- take a few minutes to experiment with the tips. if you hear no bass, try a new tip. the tips stay on unlike the bose ones. the in-line mic picks up my voice CLEARLY and is located closer to the mouth than most mics and sounds like i am close. nobody has complained. with iPhone, the button has a few features that i will talk about. While in a call with an incoming call, pressing the button places the first call on hold and answers the new one. if you hold the button for 3 seconds it will volley back to the first call.press the button once during a song and it will stop playback of the song. press it again to resume the song. If you press the button quickly twice, it will skip forward to the next song. during a song and call it will stop music and answer the call. When you press the button again, ends call and resumes playback. …More

Sennheiser MM50 iP Headset for iPhone
Rock Out with your Sennheiser Out
Written by TH

Ok, so lets talk about headsets. I love my music and I needed something portable and high end. I did some searching and my buddy told me to get some v-moda's. So I did (mistake!). They were ok (for 2 months), sound quality was not much better then my apple in-ears. But what really upset me was when they broke. I sent them in, nothing physically wrong, just very static sound and I was told that they would not fix them. Real nice investment huh? So I spent about 2 hours learning about what was available and saw these. Side by side against everything else I saw, they seemed to be the best. So I bought a pair. I love my new headset. The sound clarity and bass output is amazing, they are very comfortable, and I am also a big fan of having the wire go behind the neck. Oh yea, added bonus, 2 year warranty. …More

Sennheiser MM50 iP Headset for iPhone
The One You've Been Waiting For...

Finally - quality in-ear headphones compatible with the iPhone. Toss out those assorted goofy adapters! These offer direct compatibility with the original (2007) iPhone jack and has an in-line mic/switch. Sound quaility is very good. Excellent balance of bass, medium and high ranges (this is subjective I know). No distortion even at maximum volume (this is extremely loud too). I prefer in-ear phones as they mitigate outside noise (NYC) and cannot be heard by people around you except at high volumes. Granted, has the same drawbacks of this design (wire-rubbing noise, in-ear placement comfort, potentially dangerous obliviousness to environmental sounds). But for me its simply a perfect combination of sound quality and function - no qualifications. …More

The sound on these headphones is fantastic and the call quality is exceptionally clear. However, the answer/end button on mine pair stopped working after only a few (3-4) weeks of use. I expected better from a quality brand like Sennheiser. …More

Yes, they do have a mic. But it is very poor...far less sensitive than the basic Apple headset that comes bundled with your phone, and way inferior (though happily smaller) than the mic on a Bang and Olufsen headset. I've owned both.
I have had so many people complain that they can't hear me during a phone call on the Sennheiser headset that I only use them for listening to music now. Which, of course, is a major short coming since phone calls are what the mic on a headset are all about, right? …More- Answered by DW from LAHAINA
