Compact & portable
This all-in-one unit from Belkin has delivered as promised. The rotating (and lockable) plug is a convenient feature. The Belkin p roduct can be plugged into an outlet in a horizontal or vertical orientation. I use it in the horizontal configuration and sit my Ipod on the side of the unit -- it makes a nice little shelf.
The 3 surge protected AC outlets are a big plus...plenty of room to plug in my laptop and camera chargers while using the USB chargers to top off my Ipod and mobile phone.

An excellent surge protector!
This surge protector works great. Belkin's always a good brand for surge protectors, and the features on it are great. The three p lugs are well-spaced; you won't get a bulky adapter in each one, but they'll fit plenty of slightly-wider plugs. In addition, the two USB ports are great for charging phones (charges my Motorola KRZR better than the charger that came with it!), iPods, whatever you have that gets USB power (I even have a USB power cord for my DS that works great). This means you can leave the bulky adapters at home, just bring the USB cables. It even comes with a mini-USB charge-only cable, for most Blackberry phones, modern Motorola phones, pretty much anything that uses that new standard for power.
It is a bit big, but not unreasonably so. Especially when you consider that it keeps you from having to bring at least two other large AC plugs, it really makes up for it in your bag! In addition, it comes with a cap that goes over the plug, keeping it from getting bent up in transport; there's also a small spot on the side for the cover to slide on when it's plugged in, so you don't lose it. Small things like that make it grand.
And of course, as you can see in the official description and the pictures, the plug on the back rotates. It locks into four different positions, so it's not a true "360-degree" plug I suppose, but that should be good for most anyone.
All in all, a great value, a great brand, and great features.

110V only so useless in Europe
I bought this thinking it was a travel plug but it can't handle 220V-240V like cheapo adapters do. I also find it bulky, there's g ot to be a way to make it more compact, at the very least a retractable plug…

Great product
I always bring it with me. You can set the connector position in order to get the best arrange to your power socket. The only one problem is when charge my iPod (5th gen) and other gadget at the same time by USB port (I have tryed with other iPod, Android phone and USB battery), it get overloaded. Nevertheless it is a great product. 100% recommended. …

I can confirm the 16GB and 32GB wifi version charge just fine via USB. be warned that you will get t he "Not Charging" status when the screen is on, but it's charging... slowly. So turn off the screen and it'll do fine.
I can also confirm that I'm able to charge 2 USB devices at once, my iPhone and iPad do appear to be charging. This might help if you've seen reviews otherwise. …- Answered by Jason M from Littleton

I was thinking the same thing. If you have a look at the Apple USB Power Adaptor the prongs are shap ed in a way that will fit in Australian power sockets. The Belkin one here looks like it's designed for America/Canada. But that's just my thoughts. …

Yes. I have the exact same setup. Here's how.
Plug the surge suppressor into wall socket.
Plug iPad charger into one of the three outlets and connect to iPad.
Plug iPhone charger into one of the three outlets and connect to iPhone OR use just the USB cable to plug iPhone into one of two USB ports on surge suppressor.
