Overview
PowerDock 2 is a charging base where your family can charge their iPod or iPhone. This single unit includes two built-in Apple Universal Docks. And it comes with a collection of Universal Dock insert adapters to ensure that nearly every iPod gets a place at the table.

My wife and I both own iPhones and one of us was always running out of battery. After I received this product, we are both fully charging our phones at the same time with no problems at all.
The dock is actually very attractive. The size of the dock is just right on any dresser or desk or even night stand. one power cable and a bunch of dock adapters for all of the ipods and such. I saw this product and it grabbed my attention, because my girlfriend have been sharing one Ac charger for her ipod nano, my Ipod 30Gb, and my iPhone. The Apple store shipped it with in two days of ordering, which is always a nice surprise after they tell you a longer ETA.
After opening and setting it up, I decided to use the custom dock adapter for the ipod nano, and the ipod 30gb. The dock works perfectly. It sits and helps eliminate clutter and having to constantly swap chargers.
I decided to not even use it for the iPhone, even though it is iPhone compatible. I use the Agent 18 eco shield case, and I never have a reason to remove the Phone from it. I believe the agent 18 even came with a custom dock adapter that allows you to charge the iPhone in a dock and did fit the PowerDock when I tried it. I just felt that the iPhone felt a little unsturdy, and was concerned about damaging it. However, that is just my preference, and again, it would work if you wanted to use it.
Only con: be careful when you insert the dock adapters in to the PowerDock, as they "click in to place", making them very difficult to remove. If you plan on frequently changing the dock adapters for different model iPods, this could be a problem. other wise ...charge on! …More233 of 278 people found this useful

I'm using two of these for my 60G iPod Photo, 80G Classic, and my 3GS iPhone.
It works well although a couple of the plastic inserts were not labeled correctly. A nice, slim design, fairly attractive, with a small footprint.
I rated it at only four stars because:
a) I wish the brushed aluminum wasn't quite so coarse
b) a couple of the inserts were mislabeled and one didn't fit quite right
c) It's pricey for a charger only device. For that kind of money it really should have a
Line Out jack from the Dock Connector.

WOW, this dock is so nice the metal is not cheap rough metal its sooth it also is black and silver so looks supper with im 27 inch imac and wow the grip so good on it i mean it is one of the best grips out there.
