Overview
ArtRage Deluxe gives you realistic art tools in a simple and stylish environment, so you can start creating your own works of art right away. Just pick up the mouse and start painting.
It includes tutorials and videos to learn from, reference images for tracing, and stencils for painting precise shapes. You'll have the artwork and guidance you need to create amazing art.
Paint and draw with oils, brushes, pencils, rollers, pens, and more. Blend and smear paint on the canvas, and use the bristle texture of your stroke to add depth to the image. The Metallic Paint option gives you spreadable, blendable gold and silver oil paints, sparkling glitter, silver leaf sprays, and other incredible effects.
Pick colors, zoom in and out, and trace your image as loosely or tightly as you see fit. Use layers to isolate colors, effects and lines. Mix them at will. Finish your work with fine detailing, airbrushing, distortions, or varying backgrounds. The creative possibilities are endless.

I love this program it is so worth every cent, it is very fun to use you it feels like you are painting with real tools, The interface is set up to make creating art easy and acessible to every one i highly recommend getting a tablet for this program. this is a must have for any art or design major and my kids love it, The best part it is very affordable and does what all the other expensive programs do. i would actually pay more for this program …More

First off I'd like to say I haven't used the Deluxe version of this program. I bought the online version a year ago for only $20 and my family just loves it. Realistic looking textures, color mixing, etc. If really feels like you are painting or coloring. My daughter loves the tracing paper feature (where a photograph is superimposed on your canvas and you just paint or draw - it automatically selects the right color).

I have owned Jasc Paintshop Pro and Corel Painter IX. My child had such a hard time using these and understanding all of the tool bars. I literally could not let her on them because she would get angry which made me angry. ArtRage Deluxe 2.5 is so easy and affordable! All of the tools are adjusted within the tools. It's like having your art tools sitting beside you in their own cups. No confusion and no directions really needed. A great program for young and old digital art lovers! …More

This has got to be the worst art software

I downloaded this software today (not an Apple product) ordered online from the Apple store and after being unable to navigate (unusual for me) I tried reading the manual, which is lengthy but didn't tell how to get back the icons when they disappeared with no available option to retrieve them. I tried reinstalling the software, but it didn't work. I read the manual through and couldn't find a clue. etc.
The only good thing about this product is Apple's service. I called and the as-usual excellent customer service rep took care of the problem without any loss to me.
