Had difficulty getting things to work with default settings. Setup beyond that will take hours. I finally uninstalled mine

I have been using Netbarrier for three years now. I travel to other countries with my laptop and visit all types of websites. I have been ping attacked once, according to netbarrier, and it was stopped and the IP blocked. I think the program is neat as you can trace IP addresses to physical locations. The annoying part is that I can't get it to auto accept my printer connection (I need to click accept) when the security settings are turned up. Great Firewall...

It does what it's supposed to without interfering with the things I don't want it to. I was using OS X's built in firewall however there were times when one of the computers on the network wouldn't be able to connect and/or computers would disappear from iChat/Bonjour until having to restart. I decided to give NetBarrier a try and all the problems went away with a bit of setup which wasn't hard at all.
